A Father’s Love
There are so many things a father’s love gives but the lack of that father’s love can destroy a child not only here on earth but also for eternity.
A father’s love must be the same as our heavenly Father’s love.
Sacrificial – Our heavenly Father gave of himself for us – fathers do that!
Patience – Our heavenly Father has patience with us- fathers must have patience.
Kind – God is kind- we as fathers must learn kindness and then show it to children.
Humble – God teaches us humbleness- we must show humility before or children.
Honest- Honesty is taught throughout the bible- our children need to see that in us.
Forgiving- The heavenly Father forgives us – we must teach and practice forgiveness.
Faithful- God is faithful and just to deliver on his promises – we need to be the same.
Selfless- Our Father was thinking of us when he sent his Son to die on the cross for us.
Consistent- These Godly characteristics should be found in our earthly fathers!
Unchanging- God was committed to to us his children- fathers must be there for their children.
We need to strive on being the father just like our heavenly Father.
