Dino Fuzz
I was listening to the news the other day, and they were talking about that some think that some dinosaurs were covered with feathers instead of a tough skin: which they termed this new idea as "Dino Fuzz" in the news clip. Now the point that occurs to me is that whether dinosaurs had fur, feathers or a tough hid like an alligator makes no difference to me. But that from some dug up bone(s) it is human imagination that decides what they think these "Terrible Lizards" (the definition of dinosaur by the way) look like. Now this is OK if they would let people know that it is guesswork and human imagination that is employed and not facts being presented. The word science means, "to know" not to guess or speculate about a thing. Paul warned about psuedo-science in I Tim.6:20-21, "O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen". I don't know of any true scientific fact or law that contradicts the teachings of the Bible. Now there have been and still are many theories that contradict the teachings of the scriptures, but not true science. I would challenge any to produce one scientific fact that runs contrary to the teachings of the word of God! Now if "Dino Fuzz" is the truth, or if "Dino Hide" be the truth, or even some other covering be the truth, don't pawn off guess work and human speculation as scientific facts. If this is an opinion tell us, if it is the fact, present the evidence for all to see. This is one of the unfair things about how the general theory of evolution has been presented too many times, as if it were an established fact, when in reality it is the mere opinion of men. "Dino Fuzz" is a great illustration of this concept, the opinion of men verses true facts based on compelling evidence. May people of our day need to be clearly taught the difference between "Voodoo Science" and true science. Don't let people shake your faith in God by their speculations and theories that are presented as facts. The truth of God's word has stood through the years, and will continue to stand!
