John 3:16
Some have called John 3:16 the golden text of the Bible, rightly so it is a marvelous passage of scripture. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Let’s look at this great text.
“For God” the greatest being is concerned about us.
“So loved” the greatest love for humanity was shown to us.
“The world” the greatest number of people included, he loved us all.
“That he gave his only begotten Son” the great gift that mankind has ever received.
“That whosoever believeth in him” the greatest invitation is being offered to whoever will.
“Should not perish” the greatest rescue is being offered to mankind, saved from perishing in hell.
“But have everlasting life” the greatest home that a man or woman could ever live in, a home in heaven.
