Cutest Couple
I was at a meeting this week and the preacher referred unto an interesting thing he had seen in the news. It was about two lesbian high school girls out in Utah that was voted as the "Cutest Couple"for their class yearbook. But such is not cute nor becoming to that school, those families, that state or our country. Lesbianism is a sinful behavior. "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet." Rom 1:26-27. Sin in its very nature is ugly and unbecoming! The behavior and choices of these two seniors is wicked and corrupt. Its a sad commentary on that student body to vote in favor of this lesbian couple. Makes me wonder if people will begin naming the "Cutest" serial killer or the "Cutest" rapist, the "Cutest" drunkard, the "Cutest"child molester? Such immoral action as these two girls is inexcusable. I am reminded of what Jeremiah said, "Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD." Jer 8:12. Its bad enough to do wickedly, but not be ashamed of it, but honor it by voting them as the "Cutest Couple" is sad indeed. Its what Isaiah said, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isa.5:20. We live in a morally mixed up world. Calling good evil and evil good.
