Scientific Racism
I was reading an article the other day about Charles Darwin, the man that popularized the theory of evolution with his book the Origin Of Species. He also published the Decent of Manwhere he upheld the idea that some people in our world are of a lower form of humans. This gave the racists of his day an "excuse" from "science" to promote their racists view and ideas, "scientific racism." Paul warned about psuedo-science (Psuedo is a word that means false) in I Tim.6:20, "O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called." When people reject the knowledge of God they find all kinds of justifications for every kind of sin going around. Racism or respect of persons is a sin. James said, "My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors." Jms.2:1,9. But if we evolved from monkeys and some of us closer and some of us are further away in the evolutionary chain, then surely the superior folks have the right to look down on the inferior sorts. Isnt that what the racist hate groups have done through the years, such as the Nazis, the KKK, etc.? They have claimed they are a superior race, and oppress and persecute the inferior race(s). But for those who believe and accept the truth of God, such is unacceptable. The truth is that God has created man, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." We all come from one blood, "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation." All humans are made in the image of God, and there is no justification for prejudice, racism, or even "scientific racism" as it is falsely called.
