Unconcerned for Destruction
In 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 we read, "And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power."
Many people seem so unconcerned about the Bible warnings of everlasting destruction, what the scriptures call hell or hell-fire. Vengeance from God will come someday when Jesus returns to end time and all earthly things. The resurrection of ALL mankind will take place at that hour, John 5:28-29, "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." All will be judged by the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5:10, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." Then an eternity in heaven or hell will be spent by all mankind, Matthew 25:46, "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." Many may profanely ridicule God's teaching on these matters, nevertheless it will someday come to pass. The hope of the gospel is that we might be saved from our sins, for it’s sin, that will bring the wrath and condemnation of God, Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
My friends if you haven't obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ to have your sins forgiven, you'd need to, it is so simple to understand. Believe in Jesus as God's Son, repent of your sins, confess faith in him, and he baptized, Mt.28:18-20, Ac.2:36-41, Rm.10:9-10.
