100 Years
I was watching a program the other day about global warming and the use of fossil fuels. A man made a statement that astounded me. He said that when you burn some fossil fuel and release a carbon dioxide molecule into the air, it can be in the atmosphere for a 100 years. Now I thought this guy who is being interviewed, should be an intelligent man, being on a documentary on global warming, yet he does not even understand elementary age, science and biology. What do we breath and exhale, (as well as animals)? We take in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. And what do plants breath and then exhale? They take in carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen. Does it seem reasonable with the billions of plants in the world that maybe one of these plants would breath in that carbon dioxide molecule before 100 years of time? We have many people blinded by pseudo-science and caught up with the desire to get on the band wagon. Paul said in 1 Tim.6:20-21, "O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen." God told Noah long ago, when he left the ark, "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." There are climactical variations in the weather. but it gets cold every winter and gets hot every summer here in Kentucky. We have a fall season and we have a spring season. In 50 years of living it has NEVER failed. For God promises have always been true, and will continue to remain true as long as the earth remains. Even if God allows the world to stand another 100 years or more, we will have the 4 seasons living in Kentucky!
