How well are you adjusting to the TIME change?
This time of year, about everyone you talk to mentions the time and some like the slow time better and others like the fast time better. But what about God’s time, do you ever think about His?
Our time here on earth we see seconds fade into minutes, and minutes into hours, and hours into the days, weeks, months, and years of our lives. Time goes by so fast. But God tells us in
Eccles. 3:1-8 there is a time for everything, To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. When each of these times are to happen in our lives is different for each individual, but only God knows the times.
God doesn’t measure time as we do as we read in Psalm 90:4, “For a thousand years in your sight (O God) are just like yesterday when it is past, like a watch in the night. Again in 2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
One thing to keep in mind is the time we have here on earth and what we do with our time, will determine our eternal destination. So, it is very important that we choose our time wisely on whom we are going to serve. I ask you the question, when’s the best time to embrace Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior in your life? The answer is told to us in the scriptures,
2 Corinthians 6:1-2 We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you. “Behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, Now is the day of salvation.
