The Strait Gate Leads Us to Heaven

We can learn from the passages in Matthew 7:13-14 about the strait and narrow gate verses the wide and broad gate as it says, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

We must be aware that the wide and broad gate deceives us into thinking that it is the right way. The wide gate is also easier to get through because we don’t have to be so cautious as to stay within its boundaries. Walking through the wide gate is also deceivingly pleasurable. The wide gate appeals to the fleshly side of man and as humans we like to make things easier on ourselves, but we must also be made aware that this wide gate will lead us into destruction.

The wide gate is always popular and there will be many that go therein, everybody is doing it, everybody is believing it. The wide way adds a little bit of truth mixed in with non-truth to make it more popular to the soul, but we must beware it is destructive to the soul of man.

The Lord wants us to go through the strait gate and he will be there to be us on the other side, but it is our decision and our choice to go the right way in life, the strait gate.

It is the way of difficulty as Jesus says, “Narrow is the gate and difficult, but the reward is the way which leads to life.” This life is eternal life with Jesus and is so worth the journey. Jesus will never leave us or forsake us.
