God’s Favor
Divine favor Is God’s gift bestowed on those who obey him. The favor of God is better than any riches on earth that we could ever want. The Favor of God is a powerful, supernatural force that moves mountains and shapes our destiny. Our destiny is not what ends in this life but the destiny of our eternal life, the hereafter. Christians question the favor of God when trails come to them, but you don’t have to feel favored to be favored. God will still have favor upon us even though our circumstances may not always look like it. Consider Joseph, his brothers ripped his coat and covered it with blood and told their father that he was dead. When he was sold as a slave, when he was in that deep dark pit and begged his brothers for mercy, God still was with him even though it didn’t look like it.
George W. Truitt quoted, “To know the will of God is the greatest knowledge! To do the will of God in the greatest achievement. The will of God is not always easy, but it is always right. I John 5:14 tells us and this is the confidence that we have in Him: that if we ask anything according to his will, He heareth us. Where is the will and favor of God found? It is found in the scriptures. Jesus offered favor to sinners in many ways. Jesus showed love to sinners, taught them and built relationships with them. Jesus offered pardon for sins in John 8:1-11 it says Jesus offered favor to a woman of her guilt, warned her against future temptations, and sent her away to live a changed life. Jesus spread the Good News to sinners letting them know that forgiveness was available to them. Jesus died on the cross for sinners so that they could become righteous of God through him.
Proverbs 3:3-4 tells us, let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the table of your heart. So, you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.
May we all carry love, faithfulness to God, place them in our heart, carry them around our neck, so that God will find favor in us.
